My Dad was there for 17 months. Initially things were good, then when he needed more care things made a turn for the worse. Caregivers were forcing him to wear clothes he did not like, getting him out of bed when he did not to, and handling him very roughly. When my mother first lived there it was a great place with great staff. She had to have several surgeries while she was there and when she was released back to Amethyst the staff always took great care of her. Very unprofessional staff. The executive director curses at staff. Poor leadership. Maintenence department is run by a real price of work that hits on all the caregivers and staff. He's married supposedly with 5 kid's. Creeper. The rest of the management team is paranoid for their jobs and the Inn memory care unit has had 4 directors over the last year alone.
